SPACE SUNDAY — SPECIAL EDITION
25th Jan | Jungle Origens, Vagator
This Sunday, Space returns with a special edition at Jungle Origens — a carefully curated gathering rooted in sound, intention, and community.
Bringing together Japanese underground energy and Indian favourites, powered by a Funktion-One sound system as our main headliner for the night. Huge love and gratitude to Kaydi for bringing in the Funktion-One — truly appreciate you 🖤
✦ International Guests (Japan) ✦
MIMU (Paramount / JP) Founder of Paramount, a rave that has become a cornerstone of Japan’s underground scene. Staying true to his own taste and principles, Mimu’s DJ sets reflect years of artist curation and deep listening — layering textures and rhythms to form a slow-burning, immersive sonic story.
AKEY (Japan) With edgy yet deep techno at her core, Akey’s sound flows through electro, left-field techno, ambient, breaks, and EBM. A strong presence in Tokyo’s club circuit, she has also appeared at festivals such as Rural and Re:birth. Her experimental mixes have been featured on Noods Radio (UK), Internet Public Radio (Mexico), and The Lot Radio (NYC). As an organiser, she runs Voltex and recently launched VITAL, a new project inviting international artists while continuing to push boundaries.
✦ Mystery Guest ✦
Secret Guest The first time I heard him play, it completely blew my mind. An abstract, rhythm-driven journey with a jazz-like sensibility — fluid, unpredictable, and deeply trippy. Opening the space from sunset onwards, setting the tone with intention and depth. One of my personal favourites — not to be missed.
✦ Kaydi ✦
Kaydi (he/him) is a DJ and the mind behind Bangalore-based event series Read the Room. Guided by the philosophy “journey over genres, bends over blends,” his sets move fluidly through broken rhythms, polyrhythms, deep psychedelic textures, and bass-heavy, dub-infused soundscapes — always shaped by the moment.
✦ Khiz.zihK ✦
Khiz.zihK is a DJ and curator rooted in minimal, dub-influenced music, with a refined approach to space and groove. A partner in the Space residency, he has been instrumental in building and shaping this night into what it is today, bringing consistency, depth, and intention to the dance floor.
✦ Visuals ✦
Optikbloom creates immersive, audio-reactive visual environments where light and motion evolve with the music — subtle, abstract, and deeply psychedelic.
✦ Full Line-up ✦
Akey (Japan) Akshay Mathker Kaydi Khiz.zihK Mimu (Japan) Secret Guest
From sunset to late, guided by a Funktion-One system and a shared frequency.
See you on the dance floor.
